Postcard
Crowd in Period Dress
Photographic postcard of a group of men and women dressed in clothing of the mid-nineteenth century posing at the side of a Baraboo Street. Most of the women are holding fans. Two women are holding American flags; a man in the background is holding a sign saying: "The Girl I left [sic] Behind Me." Several women on the sidewalk at left are wearing clothing from the time the photograph was taken. A long patriotic banner is hanging above the sidewalk. There are large awnings on the buildings behind the group. |
