Edward McCormick and Elizabeth Blair House, Keck and Keck Project #500. Project date 1953. George Fred and William Keck were born in Watertown, Wisconsin, and operated an architectural office on Michigan Avenue in Chicago, Illinois. Edward Blair, a former managing partner of William Blair & Company in Chicago, also was the great-grandnephew of Cyrus McCormick, inventor of the McCormick reaper. Mr. Blair was a life trustee at the Art Institute of Chicago, the University of Chicago, Rush University Medical Center and College of the Atlantic, and a life director for the George M. Pullman Educational Foundation. This photograph shoots through the entryway from the back of the Blair house on N. Sheridan Road, Lake Bluff, Illinois.
