Schumacher Building and Standard Building
View across State Street towards two buildings. On the left is the neoclassical Schumacher Building, and on the right is oart of the Queen Anne style Standard Building. The upper two floors of both buildings are apartments. The ground floor of the Schumacher Building is Eck's Card Shop, with two show windows framing the door that are showcasing various stationary and novelties. The left side of the Standard Building, under the awning, is Paul's Club. The last third of the building on the ground floor is Jack's Shoes. A few pairs of boots are in a show window, and a sign for Jack's Shoes is hanging above on a fire escape. |
