Two Women in Road Cart
Two women in a road cart pulled by a mule. Mules were almost unknown at the time. The road cart was not a typical vehicle and was considered inappropriate for a young man to take his young lady riding in. Woman on the left was Edna Bright, "an athletic girl of eccentric tastes," on the right, with umbrella, is Mary Emerson, who worked at Bright's Store. May be a gag shot. |
