Folder: Dairying The original photograph caption reads, "...the best dairyman at Birmingham Ala., milking 160 cows Feb. 14, 1915. He is 46 years old and has 9 children. Began work as a carpenter, and boarded with a dairy farmer. Helped milk when hired man failed to show up, and in this way became interested in dairying. He is considered one of the best business farmers in the state." |
