Tall-tale Postcard: Gold Mine On The Farm
Photomontage of a giant pig in a pen. A man, standing in the pen, is holding a giant ear of corn for the pig to eat. Numerous ears of oversized corn litter the ground in the pen as well. A young girl is standing outside the fence of the pen looking at the pig. A text box in the lower right corner says, "A Gold Mine On The Farm." As with most of Erickson's work, this postcard is credited to his studio, the "Photo Art Shop." |

The original user of this postcard has written on the front of the image, "Julius and Klug's girl." On the verso of the postcard, the same individual has written, "This is Klug's barnyard," suggesting that the description on the front is factual, though it is difficult to know for certain.
