Statue of Colonel Hans Christian Heg, by Paul Fjelde, at the King Street approach to the Wisconsin State Capitol. Commander of the 15th Wisconsin Infantry, Heg was fatally wounded at the battle of Chickamauga on 19 September 1863 and died the next day. |
