Scott's Extinguisher
General Scott holds a large cone decorated with the stars and stripes. Scott is saying: "I'LL BLOCK YOUR GAME." He is about to snuff out Jefferson Davis, who is sitting at a table with bags of money, and a soldier (General Robert E. Lee?) dragging a cannon. Davis has a pair of scissors in his pocket. Under the soldier is a snake, and a palm tree is in the background. Above is the text: "SCOTT"S EXTINGUISHER!" Ilustration printed on envelope, mounted on a decorative border and collected in an album. |
