View of the canal area of the Columbian Exposition grounds looking north from near the front of the Machinery building (at left). The South canal is in the foreground with bridges crossing it. The Agriculture Building is seen at right and the Manufacturers and Liberal Arts Building is in the center. A drinking water station can be seen at the bottom center of the image. Many people are walking around the grounds and observing the scenery. A number of statues can be seen stationed around the water and on buildings. |
