Full-length cabinet card of two young children in front of a painted backdrop of the ocean. They are attired in coats, dresses and hats, and are holding hands. 

The children are at right Hilda Johnston (1883-1974), age 4, and at left John "Jack" Thorsen Johnston (1884-1939), age 3, the children of John and Ethelinda Johnston (1856-1947) of Milwaukee.  John Johnston (1836-1904) was a successful Milwaukee banker.

The hats and Jack's coat were made by Mrs. Emmons.
