Head and shoulders portrait of Arne Arneson, a private in Company D, 15th Wisconsin Infantry. The following information was obtained from the Regimental and Descriptive Rolls, Volume 20: He resided in Mount Horeb, Wisconsin. On December 15, 1861, he enlisted in Mount Horeb, Wisconsin and on December 16, 1861, he was mustered into service in Madison, Wisconsin at the age of 22. He was listed as wounded and missing in action following the battle at Stone River, Tennessee on December 31, 1862. In March 1862, it was discovered that he was a paroled prisoner of war in St. Louis, Missouri. On February 17, 1865, he mustered out with the company at Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Head and shoulders portrait of Iver Torkelson, a sergeant in Company H, 15th Wisconsin Infantry. The following information was obtained from the Regimental and Descriptive Rolls, Volume 20: He resided in Christina, Wisconsin. On December 4, 1861, he enlisted in La Crosse, Wisconsin and on February 13, 1863, he was mustered into service in Madison, Wisconsin at the age of 35 with the rank of corporal. On August 1, 1862, he was promoted to the rank of sergeant. He was mustered out of service in Madison, Wisconsin on February 12, 1865.

Head and shoulders portrait of Ole V. Wingaard, a private in Company K, 15th Wisconsin Infantry. The following information was obtained from the Regimental and Descriptive Rolls, Volume 20: He resided in Winneshiek, Iowa. On January 23, 1862, he enlisted in Winneshiek, Iowa and on February 11, 1862, he was mustered into service in Madison, Wisconsin at the age of 26. In November was detached to serve on Provost Marshall duty. During the battle at Stone River, Tennessee, he was severely injured and sent to a hospital in Nashville, Tennessee until he was discharged for disability on April 27, 1864, at Louisville, Kentucky.

Head and shoulders portrait of Kittel Sanderson, a private in Company K, 15th Wisconsin Infantry. The following information was obtained from the Regimental and Descriptive Rolls, Volume 20: He held residence in Winneshiek, Iowa. On February 27, 1862, he enlisted in Winneshiek, Iowa and on March 1, 1862, he was mustered into service in Madison, Wisconsin at the age of 40. He was listed as being absent sick at Bowling Green, Kentucky on November 4, 1862. He was mustered out ant transferred to Company I, 23rd Veteran Reserve Corps on October 15, 1863, by General Order No. 27 from the War department. He was mustered out of service on February 27, 1865, by reason of expiration of term of enlistment.

Head and shoulders portrait of Andrew Hanson, a private in Company C, 15th Wisconsin Infantry. The following information was obtained from the Regimental and Descriptive Rolls, Volume 20: He resided in Raymond, Wisconsin. On November 05, 1861, he enlisted in Waterford, Wisconsin and on December 2, 1861, he was mustered into service in Madison, Wisconsin at the age of 26. From November 1862 to July 1864 he was detached with the Pioneer Corps. He was mustered out of service with the company on December 31, 1864, at Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Head and shoulders portrait of Daniel Anderson, a private in Company D, 15th Wisconsin Infantry. The following information was obtained from the Regimental and Descriptive Rolls, Volume 20: He resided in Pine Lake, Wisconsin. On October 30, 1861, he enlisted in Pine Lake, Wisconsin and on December 8, 1861, he was mustered into service in Madison, Wisconsin at the age of 28. He was listed as missing in action following a skirmish near Nolensville, Tennessee on December 27, 1862. In February 1863, he was eventually found to be recovering in a hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. He mustered out with the company on February 13, 1865 at Chattanooga, Tennessee. |
