Farm Family with McCormick Binder
A woman with a child on one arm is handing a pail to a man in the seat of a horse-drawn McCormick binder. Another man and four children are nearby in the field. The binder was likely manufactured by the McCormick Harvesting Machine Company (McCormick became part of the International Harvester Company in 1902 and continued to manufacture binders under the "McCormick" brand name). The photograph may have been taken in Wisconsin. |
