Additional Information:Architect Richard E. Oberst designed the Edwin Motl Jewelry Store, which occupied the first level. It cost $19,000. Upstairs offices initially housed a physician, lawyer and dentist; these offices turned over frequently. Motl remained at this location into the 1960s. A descendant of Motl says Motl remained at this location until the 1970s.
