Additional Information: | PATTERNED SHINGLES ON MANSARD ROOF; BRACKETS UNDER EAVES. Front porch has been enlarged. Living room has been opened up and front stairway and foyer have been added. Louis Bruemmer came to Wisconsin from Germany in 1854. He was wounded in the Civil War and worked as a teacher before entering business. He was cashier of the Exchange Bank and also served as mayor. Louis Breummer lived in this huse until his death c. 1904 after which his wife stayed on until c. 1920. |
