Internships are available for students seeking an opportunity to work in a professional environment that allows them to interact with archaeologists, researchers, and curators. Internships may be specialized or general depending on a student's interests, qualifications, and on-going research projects. Internships may include the following:

  • assist with washing, labeling, packaging, and inventorying archaeological artifact collections;
  • assist with background research for grants and upcoming field projects;
  • assist with maintaining the Museum Archaeology Program's archaeological project files;
  • assist in field survey and excavation.
