Cultural Programming for People with Memory Loss
This month, SPARK! will meet at the Allen Centennial Garden, the artful living laboratory and public botanical garden of the Horticulture Department at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. After taking a stroll through their beautiful garden, participants will create their own flower arrangements to take home.
SPARK! is a free program for people experiencing early to mid-stage memory loss and their care partners. SPARK! programs feature interactive exhibit experiences in a welcoming environment with specially trained museum staff and volunteers. Participants are engaged in lively discussions, object handling, and other multi-sensory activities. Advance registration is required for SPARK! programs. Please see panel on right for details on how to sign up for this month's program.

- There are no restrooms at Allen Centennial Garden, so please plan accordingly.
- This program takes place outside. The tour of the garden will be on accessible paths, and flower arranging will take place under shade.
- In case of severe weather, the program will be moved to the Wisconsin Historical Museum. Participants will be notified of the location change by phone and email at least two hours before program start time.
