Enjoy a catered dinner in the Black Point dining room. Following dinner, enjoy a conversation with Conrad Seipp, 19th century Chicago beer baron and the original owner of the estate. This is a very rare opportunity to experience the estate. Conrad Seipp is brought to life by Randy Witt, local historian and member of the Black Point staff.
The dinner will be prepared by Personal Chef Julie of Crafty Kitchen.
6:00 pm First Course: Server Passed Appetizer & Cocktail Hour with Obatzda German Lager Beer Cheese Dip with Mini Pretzel Buns (from scratch) Served on Appetizer Spoons, Flammkuchen Wedges (German Flatbread with Crème Fraiche, Bacon, Caramelized Onions, Asparagus)
7:00 pm Second Course Salad Lorraine Swiss Bouquet filled with Red and Green Leaf Lettuce, Hard Boiled Eggs, Sliced Radishes, Cucumbers Tomatoes, Onions Drizzled with Dilly-Lemon-Sour Cream Dressing
Follwed by an entree of Pork Schnitzel with House Apple Sauce (on side) AND Knockwurst with Tart Cherry Mustard Sauce (on side) accompanied by Rotkohl (German Sweet Sour Red Cabbage) and Kartoffel Kloesse (Potato Dumplings) with Brown Butter Sauce
Dessert will be Nana's Peach Kuchen a La Mode with Freshly Whipped Cream (Kuchen is ooey, gooey, peachy, luscious German trademark!) fresh strawberries and powder sugar sprinkle.
