Ladies Union League Papers, 1862-1864


The Ladies Union League was a woman's organization in Madison that handled claims for money for Wisconsin soldiers and their families, donated food to hospitals, and corresponded with wounded soldiers. These letters consist primarily of letters to and from Union League president, Mrs. W.A.P. Morris.
