Wisconsin BadgerCare


The BadgerCare program was introduced by Governor Thompson to extend healthcare benefits to low-income families with children. The program began with over 8,600 members in 1999 and now enrolls over 90,000.  This site explains the purpose and goals of the program and provides information for both recipients and their employers.
