"Charms of Wisconsin" Sheet Music
Sheet music for "The Charms of Wisconsin," a composition by Almira E.F. Clements and Sarah Hobson of Pittsville, Wisconsin, that was self-published. The first verse reads: Mid the pine trees of Wisconsin is the land I love so well, Where wild rose and sweet arbutus scent the air; There in homes thru toil provided loyal, happy people dwell, and "Forward" is the motto every where. Chorus: Tis between the east and west, the land I love the best, No dearer place in all the world I know. Where the lavish gifts of Providence are seen on every hand, mid the pines trees where the fresh lake breezes blow. |
