The original typewritten caption reads, "Model S International motor truck owned by Herbert Brothers, furniture merchants, Auburn, New York. This truck was purchased in the spring of 1922 and up to the time of taking this picture, March 21, 1925, the speedometer had registered more than 40,000 miles. It is utilized to haul rugs, furniture, stoves, etc. It is seldom overloaded, the loads usually running to bulk rather than weight. Herbert Brothers are very enthusiastic about International service. In a signed letter Mr James B. Herbert said 'In our experience with motor delivery equipment we have used a number of different makes of motor trucks and we can truckfully say with all sincerity that the International truck that we have at the present time is the most economical truck that we have ever used and would recommend same to any one that is looking for a dependable and economical machine." |
