The white, painted metal ceiling often reflected the light from the front windows (not pictured). The reflection made it easier for the seamstresses to see. The Chippewa Woolen Mill closed in 1962. Information submitted via email by J. Mandelert, June 2011. Mandelert's father was the manager of the Mill at the time of it's closure.
