ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
One of the prolific playwright's less successful forays into Western themes. The play is sometimes recorded as "Young Buffalo" and at other times "Sheriff of Angel Gulch." It was playing at the Academy in December 1906 as "Young Buffalo" but Bordman records it under "Sheriff of Angel Gulch" playing at the 3rd Ave. Theatre in October 1908, the year it was also turned into a novel.
