Crowd Listening at Wautoma Rally
A crowd of migrant workers listening to speakers at an Obreros Unidos (United Workers) rally in front of the Wautoma Courthouse. The rally's purpose is to announce the demands of migrant farm workers to provide them with $1.25 minimum wage, insurance benefits, a meeting with the governor's committee, and public sanitation facilities in Wautoma. Strikes, rallies and marches in Wisconsin were organized by the Obreros Unidos, an independent farm worker labor union effort in the 1960s.
