Pullman Buffet Menu
Front cover and first page of a menu from a railroad dining car, with a woman in long robes carrying a tray with a steaming dish of food. A border of fruits, vegetables, and seafood adorns the upper half of the menu; a quote ("Man, be merie as Brid on berie and al thi Care let away") from a Middle English carol and bottles of wine, wine glasses, and fruits decorate the border on the lower half. The initials "F.B.S." appear in the lower left-hand corner, near the name of the company and the date. Printed in black, green, and yellow inks. |
