Owner of 2 feed elevators, founder and owner of pre-tab milkhouse company; formerly dairy farmer, President Tigerton Hospital Board, director of a bank; active in Morris Farmers Club, county fair assn., conservation clubs. Served as Tigerton village pres. 1948-64; county board member 1936-39 and 1956-64, member county finance committee, Elected to Assembly 1958; re-elected in 1960 and 1962. Vice chairman of Assembly Excise and Fees Com. and Insurance and Banking Com. Member Assembly Conservation Com., Legis. Council Menominee Indian Study Com. Served on Legis. Council Education Com.
