Fitch, Grant 1859 - 1940 | Wisconsin Historical Society

banker, b. Milwaukee. He graduated from Yale Univ. (B.A., 1881). He was employed in the National Exchange Bank of Milwaukee, serving as assistant cashier (1886-1888), cashier (1888-1906), and vice-president (1906-1925). He was president of the bank (1925-1928), and chairman of the board (1928-1930). In 1930 the bank was reorganized as the Marine National Exchange Bank, with Fitch serving on the board of directors. He was a director of the Northwestern National Insurance Co., the Wisconsin Securities Co., and the Nordberg Manufacturing Co. Milwaukee Journal, Feb. 24, 1940; Milwaukee Sentinel, Feb. 24, 1940; J.
