Bringing a Group or Class to the Library
The Library offers tours and presentations on a wide range of topics in North American history — from government information to genealogical research.
The Society's nationally known Library and Archives, located on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus, hosts large numbers of researchers daily. Tours can fill up very quickly and there are a limited number of computers and copier/scanners available.
Advance notification is required for large groups to ensure adequate staff assistance and technology is available for your group. Contact Lori Bessler at 608-264-6519
Groups of 10 or more researchers ("a car load"): a one-month advance notification is required.
Groups over 15 researchers: at least a two-month advance notification is required.
