About the Event
Ready to finish out the week with good food and better company? Celebrate Stagecoach Inn founder Betsey Wade’s hospitality as you indulge in flavorsome pizza, drinks and fun at Wade House Historic Site. In 2025, Wade House welcomes a brand-new pizza company—Fire Drill Pizza—to join the renowned Marzano Pizza Company in providing a selection of delicious pies for guests. Fire Drill Pizza ovens will be used to fire up and serve delicious Marzano Pizza recipes up to four times faster, and guests who let us know they’ll be attending will have their pizza order queued before the orders of folks who just drop in—allowing faster service for those who RSVP.
Thanks to its resounding popularity, Wade House is excited to bring our Pizza Nights back: bring friends to one, or all, of our celebratory events. Pizza Nights will be held at the Wade House Visitor Center.
About the Location
Wade House Stagecoach Inn was constructed conveniently between the cities of Fond du Lac and Sheboygan, along a well-used stagecoach trail. This made the 27-room Greek Revival hotel a popular resting point for weary travelers. Three generations of the Wade family resided on the Wade House property, with the inn operating until around 1872. The Kohler family and the Kohler Foundation purchased Wade House in 1950 and began a top-to-bottom restoration. The site became property of the Wisconsin Historical Society and opened to the public in 1953. Here, visitors can journey back to the horse-powered world that existed before planes, cars, and trains. The site features the stagecoach hotel built and owned by Sylvanus and Betsey Wade, the first European settlers of Greenbush, as well as a blacksmith shop, sawmill, visitor center and the Wesley W. Jung Carriage Museum, which houses Wisconsin’s largest collection of carriages and wagons. Visitors can enjoy horse-drawn wagon rides from the visitor center to the historic site and back again.

Know Before You Go & Accessibility
Pizza Nights is a drop in dinner experience at the Wade House Visitor Center, though if you let us know that you’ll be attending, your pizza order will be queued up before walk-in orders are received.
Guests may arrive anytime between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Thanks to new improvements in 2025, pizza wait times will be shorter—Fire Drill Pizza Company ovens will bake pies in 2 minutes and 20 seconds.
Seating is available inside the Walnut Room or outside on the patio or lawns. In addition to pizza, beverages (soda, water, wine and beer) are available for purchase.
Restrooms and water fountains are available on site. The site will remain open rain or shine. No pets are allowed. Service animals are permitted.
Because of the historic nature of the buildings, not all areas are ADA accessible.
