The Wisconsin Historical Society Speakers Bureau offers an exciting opportunity for our historians, curators and authors to visit your community and share the stories of our great state.

Do you want to find out about your family’s history but don’t know where to start? Learn how to launch your genealogy project in a few basic steps with the help of the Wisconsin Historical Society, and discover the latest trends in family history research.

Rebecca Hopman (she/her) is the Genealogy Services Librarian at the Wisconsin Historical Society Library. She gives presentations on the basics of genealogy research, conducting oral histories, and an introduction to the genealogy collections at the WHS Library and Archives.
