About the Event
Step into the clandestine basement of the Villa Louis mansion and you’ll find a hidden secret: the estate speakeasy, a subtle but potent reminder of the Prohibition era. Pull up a chair and experience a dinner full of good food, special drinks and ample history about a tenuous time in United Sates history. While the days of bootleg liquor and clandestine alcohol deals are long past, the Villa Louis speakeasy perfectly encapsulates the subtle splendor of American counterculture during the Roaring Twenties and early 1930s. Want to join in on a night full of historic fun? It’s as easy as signing up—just make sure you know the password!
