CUNA Mutual Groundbreaking
| A groundbreaking ceremony for a new building for CUNA Mutual Insurance Society takes place at the corner of Mineral Point Road and Rosa Road. Left to right are C.F. Eikel, Jr., managing director of the society; Paul Rogan, state insurance commissioner; William Knight, Jr., president of Sioux Falls, S. Dakota, CUNA; Harold Moses of New Orleans, president of CUNA Mutual; Madison Mayor Ivan A. Nestigen; and Richard Hagen, advertising director of CUNA Mutual. The insurance society was housed in the Filene House, 1617 Sherman Avenue, headquarters of the international credit union movement. |
