The man is wearing an IH jacket, work pants, boots, and a cap. The tractor model is on the front right of the tractor and has the "McCormick" and "IH" insignia. The front of the tractor reads: "474CH". The original caption to the photograph reads: "Cultivating with Z-227 cultivator. IH tractors used for ground preparation for wheat and barley growing, as well as for grazing pastures for stock. The radio is an IH tractor radio." The photograph was taken in Irwell, Canterbury Province, New Zealand. |
