IH Model 1603 School Bus in Puerto Rico
| This photograph was likely taken by the International Harvester Overseas Division for promotional purposes, and shows students in school uniforms with books exiting a model 1603 60 passenger school bus. The "IH" insignia is just above the grille of the bus and the top of the bus reads: "GUAGUA ESCOLAR." The side of the bus reads: "MUNICIPIO DE TOA BAJA." The school bus was purchased by the municipality of Toa Baja for a program initiated by the Commonwealth of Purto Rico to supply children living in rural areas transportation to school. This photograph was taken in the municipality of Toa Baja, Barrio Candelaria, Puerto Rico. |
