Residence of Francis Johnson
View from street of a two-story "boomtown" style building which was the residence of Francis Johnson, teacher at the Mayo School, District No. 1, Town of Washington, Vilas County. The first floor served as the business location of Rice Maid Photos. A sign above the door advertises Kodak Finishing, Printing, and 24 Hour Service. On the box to the left of the front door is written "Place Films Here." Johnson rented the building. A similar building stands to the right; decorative brackets adorn its cornice. |
