Charles E. Curver House
Two unidentified girls pose seated on a large stone in a rock garden on the lawn of the Charles E. Curver home. There are small clumps of flowers in bloom in the garden. The two-story wood frame house has a small recessed front porch with columns. There are window boxes at the two front first-story windows. Curver's daughter Harriet was the teacher at Hillcrest School, District No. 6, Towns of Waukesha, Pewaukee, Brookfield and New Berlin. The house was built by Isaac Pigeon Walker, United States Senator from Wisconsin from 1848 until 1855. |
