Felix Liburdi, age 17 and a student at the Hillcrest School, District No. 6, Towns of Waukesha, Pewaukee, Brookfield and New Berlin, demonstrates his kicking form. The son of Italian immigrants Petro and Annie Liburdi, Felix is described on the reverse of the photograph as "Exceedingly well developed; has fixed up a gymnasium in his home; runs 2 miles every day in summer time; referees school basketball and football; won county athletic honors for 2 years at county field meet; fine scholar." |
