Aaron was a 9th inning defensive substitution. It was widely believed that this would be the final Braves home game in Milwaukee. Indeed, an agreement was reached to move the team to Atlanta for the 1965 season, but the move was blocked by a lawsuit filed by Bud Selig, a minority stockholder in the team. The Braves played one more season in Milwaukee before moving to Atlanta. |
