Cows On Ice

While en route from Oregon prison farm to Oscar Mayer and Co., three cows were frightened by an ambulance siren on the 700 block of West Washington Avenue and broke out of their truck, escaping to the water-covered ice on Monona Bay along West Shore Drive. Image shows four employees of the prison farm at Oregon leading a lassoed cow from Brittingham beach. The caption assures us that the animals were put back on the truck and taken to Oscar Mayer and Co. and 'no one was hurt.' |
