Original UPI Wirephoto transmission. Caption reads: "Ft. Worth Tex.: Texas Gov. John Connally (L), President Lyndon B. Johnson (C), and the late President John F. Kennedy (R) bow their heads in prayer during a breakfast at the Chamber of Commerce here 11/22. A few hours later, Mr. Kennedy was slain by an assassin's bullets while riding in motorcade in Dallas. Gov. Connally was serioiusly wounded in the gunfire. Mrs. Johnson, the new First Lady, stands next to her husband." |
