Posed beside the Hotel del Coronado in Coronado, California, are the cast and crew of the 1916 silent drama "Little Eve Edgarton." Crouched in front in striped pants and holding a parasol is the director Robert Z. Leonard. Left of Leonard, with her hand on his shoulder, is the lead actress Ella Hall. Left of Hall, in deerstalker hat and pince-nez is Thomas Jefferson, who played Hall's father, a botanist. Just behind and between Hall and Jefferson is Gretchen Lederer with a white feather boa around her neck. To the right of Lederer is Doris Pawn, and to the right of Pawn, in a white linen suit and Panama hat, is Herbert Rawlinson, the leading man. The actor in the far top right may be Marc Fenton. |
