029 - Group of Campers Posed on Horseback
Group portrait of campers on horseback. One of the camp counselors is posed standing in the middle of the group. There is a lake is in the background. Original caption notes: "Riding is one of the most popular sports. English style of riding is taught, and complete at-home-ness on the horse is emphasized. The girls also learn how to saddle and bridle, and take general care of their mounts. Each horse is carefully selected, and all are three-gaited. We have a ring on the camp site, and hundreds of miles of woods trails available to us." |
