Jefferson High School

An interior view of Jefferson High School before it was demolished sometime after 2007 to make way for a newer building. The architect was Lawrence Monberg, born in Copenhagen. He and his wife bought a farm near Kenosha and based the architectural firm there until 1970. His designs were superb examples of Art Moderne. He also designed the Quisling Clinic and the first part of the Edgewater Hotel in Madison. |
