Bernice Lee Krippene, Lee's sister, said of this photograph: "Clyde had so many problems after he arrived at Barre/Montpelier in cutting red tape, raising money for gas for the flight, having [the]airplane readied to pass tests, etc. that he lost 25 pounds. It shows in this picture." |
