Orland Loomis Family

The Orland Loomis family relaxing at home. Mrs. Loomis holds a book, and leans slightly to look at her husband, who is also holding a book. A daughter sits on a stool in front of a fireplace holding a book. One son is standing and leaning on the mantlepiece, the other son is sitting on the arm of his father's chair. Orland Loomis was elected Wisconsin governor in 1942 over the incumbent Republican, Julius P. Heil, but died before taking office. |
