International Harvester Scout Improvement

International Harvester Scout Improvement | Photograph | Wisconsin Historical Society
International Harvester Scout Improvement photograph. Elevated, three-quarter view from front of driver's side. Original caption reads: "Photograph MV-2518-- A major improvement in Scout body design is the removable panel in the body partition which allows easy access to the rear seat. Optional bucket seats have been redesigned for greater comfort and durability, and have two-tone heavy-duty vinyl upholstery. The two-passenger back seat, also with the same vinyl upholstery, is now mounted further back for additional leg room. Optional spare tire location outside the tailgate is also shown here. Besides these changes, the Scout also offers more efficient self-energizing duo-servo brakes, positive crankcase ventilation, greatly improved heater-defroster, and muffler mounting at rear of chassis under the body. MT-2480."
