From Jim Allen: "1969 Scout 800A 4x4 V8 Roadster with new Whitco Safari-Top. When the 800A debuted for 1969, Whitco (an aftermarket soft top manufacturer) had debuted a new top for the Scout called the Safari-Top. It was offered aftermarket by Whitco or thru the dealer network. It was available in White or Black. It's shown on a 1969 V8 Roadster and likely these images were taken during factory evaluation prior to the top becoming an approved accessory." |
