International Scout II in Baja Race

International Scout places 5th at "Baja 500." Original caption reads: "(Photo #tf 1402) Jimmy Jones, El Cajon, Calif., in his International Scout II, finds himself temporarily airborne at the "Baja 500" - an off-road racing classic sponsored by SCORE and run over some of North America's most punishing terrain. More than 80 percent of the vehicles entered eventually wind up strewn over the 500-mile course but Jones drove his Scout to a strong finish in the stock vehicle class." |
