From Jim Allen: "1977 Scout Terra with Rallye Package driven in sand dunes in a spirited fashion 1977 was the year International began officially supporting four desert racing teams, so their advertising became a little more active and sporting. Here, a Fire Orange 1977 Scout Terra (118 inch wheelbase) with the Rallye Package is photographed for advertising purposes being driven in a spirited fashion over sand dunes. This is an early 1977 Rallye because it has the big off-road tires on the chrome Rallye wheels, an option that was phased out around February of 1977 in favor of a package that used white spoked wheels." |
