Scout Engine*25Photos&Negs From Jim Allen: "The 4-152 engine, with a 152 cubic inch displacement, was developed at the same time as the Scout and appeared barely in time to debut in the Scout late in 1960. It was developed from the International 304 cubic inch V8. Essentially, it was half of the 304 V8 and could be machined on the same production line. It used mostly the same internal parts as the V8. The year of this image is unclear, but based on engine features, it is likely between 1963 and 1966." |
